Fried red bean paste

I bought some red bean paste made outside, but I didn’t like it very much, so I decided to make it myself.

Wash the red beans.

Put it into a pressure cooker, pour in 2.5 pounds of water, turn to low heat and pressure for 20 minutes.

After the red beans are cooked, there is still some water left at the bottom.

Drain.

Divide the red beans into two parts, one part is crushed in a food processor and the other part is not crushed.

Crush red beans in a food processor.

Reserve peanut oil.

Add peanut oil to hot pan.

Turn on medium-low heat and stir-fry the red beans.

Reserve brown sugar, or white sugar can be used.

Fry the red bean paste until the water is dry. Remember to stir fry constantly and be careful not to stick it to the pot.

Pour in brown sugar and stir-fry.

Reserve honey.

After adding brown sugar, there will be moisture. After frying into a ball, pour in honey.

Stir well and the red bean paste forms into a ball.
