Fried Chinese Toon with Goose Egg
Overview
I went out to do errands today and passed by a vegetable stall. I smelled a strong smell of toon. It was very fragrant, so I bought a handful. The boss happened to have goose eggs to buy, so I bought two. We usually buy toon here with fried goose eggs, which is very fragrant and delicious. Our family will buy and eat toon every time when it comes out. You can also fry tender beans and bacon... Traditional Chinese medicine believes that toon buds are cool in nature and bitter in taste; they enter the lungs, stomach, and large intestine meridians. It clears away heat and detoxifies, strengthens the stomach and regulates qi, moisturizes the skin and improves eyesight, and kills insects. It is mainly used to treat sores, hair loss, red eyes, lung-heat cough and other diseases.
