Sweet and glutinous pig trotter soup
Overview
What should I do if the corn at home is not cooked in time when I buy it, and it dries quickly when I leave it there?

-
Look, these are two corns that are about to dry
-
Peel off the corn kernels to see if this is corn pulp. Soak the peeled corn kernels in warm water and wash them clean!
-
Put pig's trotters, ginger, jujubes, green onions, corn kernels into the pot, and add an appropriate amount of water. Note that this soup does not require a drop of oil!
-
Look at the jujubes, it’s best to remove the pits!
-
When it boils, we will see a layer of oil foam floating on it. This is actually blood foam.
-
Be sure to skim off the bloody foam when opening the pot first!
-
Cook until the pig's trotters are soft and glutinous, and the corn kernels change color and bloom a little, which means the soup is almost ready. I simmered this soup in a rice cooker for more than 2 hours. I added appropriate amount of salt before cooking it and cooked it for 20 minutes before it was ready.
-
Come out of the pot! The soup is white and tastes sweet and glutinous.

Come and try it out!
