Coconut Pecan Pie
Overview
Walnut pie, after eating it once in a store outside, I thought the walnuts were quite delicious, so I tried to make it at home. Fang Zi made some adjustments based on the taste he had eaten. The pie made by the adjusted recipe was really delicious, even better than the ones I had eaten outside - sufficient ingredients, walnut aroma, rich coconut aroma...

After the butter has softened, add cake flour, water and sugar.

Knead continuously with your hands until smooth.

Cover with plastic wrap and let rest for 30 minutes.

Roll out the rested dough into thin sheets.

Place the rolled out pie dough into an 8-inch mold and press it flat.

Melt butter, add water, eggs and sugar, mix well.

Add cake flour and coconut, mix well.

Bake the chopped walnuts in the oven at 170° for 7 to 8 minutes.

Pour the roasted chopped walnuts into the batter that was mixed before.

Mix well.

Poke some small holes in the bottom of the pie crust with a small fork and pour in the mixed walnut filling.

Sprinkle coconut milk evenly on the surface for decoration.

After the oven is preheated, bake in the oven at 170° for about 35 minutes and take it out of the oven.
