Nuomi Ci
Overview
Nuomi Ci, also called Zhuangyuan Ci, is a traditional Han Chinese snack. Nuomi Ci is made from glutinous rice as the main ingredient, supplemented by other seasonings. The glutinous rice cakes can be eaten and entertained by guests. After drying, they can also be used as good gifts for relatives and friends.

Steps

Pour the glutinous rice flour, corn starch, fine sugar, and pure milk into a basin.

Stir evenly until there are no lumps.

Melt the butter in a small bowl with simmered water and pour it in.

Mix well

Put water in the pot, put the steamer rack on it, cover the pot and steam for 20 minutes until the liquid is completely solidified. (It is recommended to leave a gap in the pot lid, otherwise there will be too much water vapor and it will not stick after steaming)

Take it out and put it into another clean basin, cover it with plastic wrap and let it cool.

Wear disposable gloves and rub a few times.

Take appropriate amount of dough.

Press with hands into the shape as shown.

Put in jam (you can also put in the filling you want to eat)

Tighten it upward to straighten the shape.

Put an appropriate amount of grated coconut in the plate and roll it in for a few times. Done.
