Glutinous rice enema
Overview
Every December, every household here begins to kill the New Year pig! Glutinous rice enema is a must-have every year. From a snack to an adult, every time I eat it, it feels like winter!

Steps
-
Poke the pig intestines repeatedly with flour and salt and wash them thoroughly! The glutinous rice is cooked for about ten hours, preferably overnight! Add appropriate amount of salt, grass fruit powder and pepper, mix well.
-
Pour the glutinous rice into the large intestine with a little water. Fill the glutinous rice until it is about 70% full.
-
Place the stuffed intestines on the steamer and steam for about an hour until they are completely cooked.
-
Cool the glutinous rice enema, slice it into slices, and fry over low heat until golden brown. (If you can’t finish it, you can put it in the refrigerator)
-
It can be eaten directly out of the pot, but my favorite is to soak it in oil tea, so that it won't be too dry. Crispy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside.
