Overview
From snacks to large dumplings, my family has always made dumplings without fillings. My grandma used to make them during festivals in my hometown. I would eat a small bowl every time after praying to the gods. My mother is making it now, so I can’t tell what it tastes like. I think it’s probably the taste of my hometown, an ancient taste that I will never forget.

Add a little red powder (edible) to the glutinous rice flour, then slowly add boiling water, stir with chopsticks, then form a dough, and roll it into a round shape with a rolling pin on the chopping board.

Then cut it into strips with a knife, add a little glutinous rice flour and knead it. (Prevent sticking together)

Then cut into pieces with a knife.

After the water boils, add the glutinous rice balls.

Crush the peanuts with a machine.

Wash the black sesame seeds, drain and set aside.

After cooking for 5 minutes, when the glutinous rice balls float, add the crushed peanuts and sesame seeds. After cooking for another 3 minutes, add the sugar and turn off the heat.

Eat a bowl of boiled glutinous rice balls while they are steaming hot.
