Dorayaki
Overview
Dorayaki: also called golden cake. Because it is made up of two gong-like cakes, it is named Dorayaki. It is a kind of dessert with baked dough filled with red bean paste and other fillings; it is a favorite pastry of Japanese people and the favorite food of Japanese cartoon characters Doraemon and Doraemon. For Chinese people, it is actually the bean paste cake that we are more familiar with. It’s not that easy to make beautiful bean paste cakes that seem very simple. It took me nearly 2 hours to make just a few small cakes. But after seeing the finished product, haha: It’s really worth it. I define it myself---perfect~~~
