Stewed Apple with Yam, Red Dates

In the dry season, drinking more soup will help hydrate the skin. This soup has a faint aroma of apples and red dates. I take it for breakfast.

Peel the yam.

Cut into hob pieces.

Add appropriate amount of water and cook over high heat.

Peel the apples.

Cut into pieces the same size as the yams.

Put the apples into the yam and add an appropriate amount of rock sugar.

Add an appropriate amount of red dates and bring to a boil, simmer over medium heat for a while, then turn to low heat.

It will take about 20 minutes until the apples are cooked and soft.
