Crispy Scones (Matcha and Original)
Overview
A good way to consume whipped cream~ If cookies are delicate cute girls, then scones must be uninhibited tomboys~ Forgive me for being uninhibited and indulgent in my life and loving freedom~~ The amount of raw materials and dough don’t need to be so delicate. It can be made delicious, primitive and simple, but just irresistible, so let’s go~~

Forgive me for being too lazy to take pictures of the previous steps. Soften the butter and cut it into small pieces. Add sifted low-gluten flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder. Knead into fine particles and divide into two even portions. Add matcha powder to one portion, then divide the light cream into two portions and pour into the flour and mix well. Add the beaten egg liquid according to the dryness and wetness of the dough. The dough does not need to be too wet, and it does not need to be kneaded for too long, just form a ball.
-
Roll the dough into a 1.5 to 2cm piece and use your favorite mold to make it look like this~
-
Or it looks like this~ Preheat the oven to 180° and set aside. Put the prepared scones into the baking pan, brush evenly with a layer of egg wash, a little thicker, put it into the lower or middle rack of the oven, bake at 180° for 25 minutes, and you're done~~
-
Then you can get scones like this~
-
Or a scone like this~

I like the beautiful texture that pops up in the middle when grilled, the higher it is, the better!

Eat it while it's hot~ super crispy!
