Prepare the ingredients: as shown (the white fungus needs to be soaked until soft).

Heat oil in a pan, add ginger slices and sauté until fragrant, add crucian carp and fry until golden brown on both sides, add appropriate amount of boiling water.

Cover and bring to a boil over high heat until the soup turns milky white in color, as shown in the picture.

Peel the papaya and cut into thick slices.

Tear white fungus into small pieces and wash red dates.

After the soup turns white, add papaya, white fungus, and red dates and continue cooking over medium heat for about 15 minutes.

The soup is ready, just add some salt.
