Homemade sour plum soup
Overview
In the hot summer, my son especially wants to drink sour plum soup. I took a closer look at the sour plum powder I bought in the supermarket. It actually has many ingredients and a lot of preservatives. So I thought I'd better cook it myself, work harder, and sacrifice some of my entertainment time in order to raise a good pig.

Ume (can be bought from online stores) and dried hawthorn (available in supermarkets), wash off the floating dust and soak for 3 hours. I soaked it before going to bed the day before and made soup the next morning.

Put licorice and black plum water into a casserole and bring to a boil over high heat, then simmer over low heat for half an hour

Turn off the heat. Add rock sugar and stir to dissolve.
