Hand drawn cream cake roll
Overview
It is the first time that the baking event has a competition area in Wuhan. I am very happy. I made a cake roll during my break today and wrote Wuhan's image slogan "Wuhan, different every day" on the cake. It's a pity that the beautiful words were written so ugly. Let’s post it and record it! Welcome everyone to come to Wuhan, Wuhan welcomes you!

Ingredients
Steps
-
Beat the oil, milk and sugar evenly with a hand mixer.
-
Add the sifted two flours and mix well.
-
Add egg yolks and stir with a whisk in a Z-shape.
-
Mix into a fine egg yolk paste.
-
Beat the egg whites until they become wet peaks (just like this big curved hook)
-
Add 1/3 of the egg whites into the egg yolk paste, and use a rubber spatula to gently stir evenly (mix from the bottom up, do not stir in circles to prevent the egg whites from defoaming)
-
Then pour the mixed egg yolk paste back into the remaining 2/3 of the egg whites.
-
Use the same technique to stir evenly up and down until the egg white and egg yolk paste are fully mixed into a fine egg paste.
-
Pick a small amount of cake batter and mix it with edible red coloring.
-
Put it into a piping bag, write "Wuhan is different every day" on oil paper, then put it in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 2 minutes to set.
-
Pour in the cake batter and shake lightly.
-
Cook the middle layer at 175 degrees for 18-20 minutes (time and temperature are for reference only). Tear off the parchment paper on the cake while it is hot, then cover it with a piece of parchment paper and let it cool.
-
Whip 200 grams of light cream and sugar.
-
Spread the whipped cream onto the cooled cake slices.
-
Roll up, wrap in oil paper and refrigerate for an hour to set.
-
The handwriting is not good and is too small.

Wuhan city image slogans can be seen everywhere on the streets. Welcome to Wuhan, welcome to Wuhan~
