Steps
-
Take a pack of stew pot sauce. Our family doesn’t like spicy food, so we chose the seafood sauce (slightly spicy).
-
Tear open the bag and take out the sauce packets inside one by one. There are eight packets in total, which are: red dates, wolfberry and sesame buns, secret sauce, sauce powder packets, secret base oil, secret seafood sauce, secret spicy sauce, secret sauce, and secret cooking oil.
-
The main ingredient I use here is chicken wings. In fact, I personally think that if seafood ingredients such as live shrimp and squid can be added, the taste will be more delicious. Wash the chicken wings and drain the water, then score both sides lengthwise for easy flavoring.
-
Take the secret seafood sauce and secret cooking oil.
-
Pour into the chicken wings and stir evenly to marinate.
-
Continue to add the secret spicy sauce.
-
Stir evenly and set aside the main ingredients.
-
When pickling, prepare the vegetable base. You can mix the vegetables according to your own preferences. I chose the commonly used green and red peppers, carrot slices, sweet potato slices and garlic.
-
Also prepare the side dishes needed later. Here I have prepared lotus root slices, lettuce slices, coriander and hot dry noodles.
-
Take half a cup of water and mix it with the sauce powder packet.
-
Mix the sauce powder packet with a spoon and set aside.
-
Take another cup and a half of water and pour it into the pot.
-
Add secret sauce.
-
Continue to add a small amount of salt.
-
After the water boils, pour the previously made sauce powder packet into the pot.
-
Stir constantly with a spoon.
-
When the color is black and bright and can be stretched, scoop it up and put it into a bowl for later use.
-
Take a non-stick pan or an electric pan that can be used on an induction cooker. I am using a multi-functional electric pan. Plug the pan into the power supply, set the heat to low, and add the secret base oil.
-
Wait for the base oil to melt.
-
Pour in the prepared vegetable base.
-
Stir fry with a wooden spoon for a while and then add the red dates, wolfberry and sesame buns.
-
Cover the pot and simmer for about five minutes. Do not use too much heat to avoid sticking to the pot.
-
Spread the previously mixed main ingredients on the vegetable base and continue to cover and simmer for 5 minutes.
-
Add secret sauce.
-
Lay out the lotus root slices.
-
Arrange the lettuce slices.
-
Spread the previously prepared stew sauce evenly in the pot.
-
Cover the pot and continue simmering until the sauce is simmered and the main ingredients are cooked, then you can start eating.
-
When the ingredients inside are almost eaten, you can add an appropriate amount of boiling water (it would be better if you add broth). After the soup boils, you can continue to stir-fry your favorite ingredients, such as coriander, hot dry noodles, meatballs, etc.!
