Dutch Waffles
Overview
Very simple to make, great for breakfast or afternoon tea. It tastes like roasted milk and is perfect when paired with fruit and yogurt. Eat it hot. This recipe is suitable for a 6-inch round mold. I used a 7*5*2-inch rectangular baking pan, which is just right for 2 people.

Steps
-
Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius). Put the milk, eggs and sugar into a large bowl and stir evenly. (You can add sugar as needed. If you like it sweeter, you can add more. If you like less sweet, you can add less, or even not at all.)
-
Sift in flour. (You can use low-gluten or all-gluten flour.)
-
Mix until there are no lumps.
-
Put butter in baking pan. (You can also use corn oil instead, butter is more fragrant.)
-
Place the buttered mold in the oven and bake until the butter melts. (Bake the mold first so it won’t stick.)
-
Pour the batter into the mold. (You can stir it or not at this time, it doesn’t make any difference.)
-
Bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes. (The temperature and time are adjusted according to your own oven. The temperature of small ovens should be lowered.)
-
Cut the fruit while it's roasting.
-
Baked and out of the oven.
-
It will collapse a little after coming out of the oven, this is normal.
-
Add yogurt.
-
Top with fruit and raisins.
-
No failures, a perfect and eye-catching breakfast.
