Steamed Gastrodia Pork and Stir-fried Eggs
Overview
Wild gastrodia elata from Xiaocaoba, Yiliang County, Zhaotong City, Yunnan Province, grows in virgin forests. Due to its pollution-free environment, excellent quality, and extremely high gastrodin content, the gastrodin content of the gastrodia elata was measured by the Kunming Institute of Botany, Chinese Academy of Sciences. The measurement result was 1.13%, which was significantly higher than the gastrodia elata from other regions (2.1 times the 0.526% of the gastrodia elata in Hanzhong, Shaanxi, and 4 times the 0.276% of the gastrodia elata in Enshi, Hubei)
