Prepare the ingredients and soak the glutinous rice in water for half an hour.

Heat a non-stick pan, stir-fry the black sesame seeds over low heat until the black sesame seeds are fragrant, then remove and let cool.

Drain the soaked glutinous rice.

Pour 400 ml of water into the wall breaking machine, add glutinous rice and black sesame seeds.

Add rock sugar again.

Beat with a wall breaker on low speed for 1 minute.

Pour the first pulp into a mesh sieve and filter.

Add 200 ml of clean water to the filtered residue again and put it into the wall breaking machine to continue beating.

After the second whipping, continue pouring into a mesh sieve and filter. The filtered residue can be reserved for other uses.

Pour the twice-filtered slurry into the cooking pot, bring to a slow boil over low heat, and stir while cooking. When big bubbles begin to appear, it means the sesame paste is ready and you can turn off the heat.
