  4. After the rice is boiling, open the lid and turn down the heat. Use a rice spoon to lick the bottom of the pot halfway to prevent sticking.

  5. Cook over low heat until all the rice water is absorbed.

  6. Add bacon and sausage, cover, and cook on low heat for 5 minutes.
