Overview
My favorite at home is pasta, and my husband’s favorite is pancakes. I watched a sister make this silk cake in my hometown. The method is not complicated. It is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. It is full of silky threads. It is beautiful and delicious!

Add flour to the noodle machine barrel and turn on the power

Press the manual kneading function, place the measuring cup filled with water on the lid of the bucket and press it, and the noodle machine will start kneading the dough

Take out the kneaded dough and put it in a basin, cover it with plastic wrap and let it rest for more than an hour.

After waking up, brush oil on the chopping board

Roll the dough into a large sheet and brush evenly with vegetable oil

Cut into slices according to desired size of cake

Take a section and cut it into two lengths. Three strips will appear

Stack it up, and then roll it up from left to right, with the tail tucked at the bottom. Don’t roll it too tightly, as it won’t be cooked well

Put a little more oil in the pot. When it is warm, put the cake base into the pan and start to bake it over low heat. Cover the lid and turn it over frequently

Both sides are golden brown and cooked and ready to serve
