【Cherry cream mille-feuille】
Overview
Thousand-feuille pastry is one of the representatives of French desserts. A small piece of pie crust will expand into a large piece after being baptized by high temperature. It is really a magical change! This snack contains layers of crispy, puffy crust, smooth and creamy whipped cream, and sweet and sour cherries. This time I used ready-made puff pastry that had been frozen since I made it last time, so it was very quick and easy to make. But the appearance is exquisite and cute, and the taste is needless to say wonderful. This snack is really addictive once you eat it and you won’t be able to put it down!

After the puff pastry is defrosted, cut into evenly sized pieces. The thickness of my pastry is about 3mm, and the size of each piece is about 11*5cm;

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Place the pastry on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and prick some small holes on the surface with a fork;

After preheating is completed, put the puff pastry into the oven at 190 to 200 degrees and bake for 15 to 20 minutes until the puff pastry swells and becomes golden;

Take out the baked puff pastry and let cool;

Prepare other materials;

Add sugar and rum to the light cream, and beat until 7 to 8 minutes in distribution, that is, large and clear lines will appear, and it will not flow at all;

Put the whipped cream into a piping bag;

Wash the cherries and dry the surface moisture. Take some cherries, remove the pits and set aside;

First dip some light cream on the bottom of the plate and put a piece of puff pastry on it;

Squeeze on the whipped cream, top with cherries, then squeeze on some whipped cream;

Place a piece of puff pastry on top, then repeat the steps of piping cream and adding cherries;

Finally sprinkle with powdered sugar for decoration.
