Prepare two sweet potatoes.

Prepare the sugar.

Peel the sweet potatoes.

Cut into diamond-shaped pieces.

Pour oil into the pot, and when the oil is hot, add the sweet potatoes and fry until there are no big bubbles in the pot but only small bubbles, then they are almost cooked.

Fry the sweet potatoes until cooked, remove and set aside.

Pour a little oil into the pot, then pour in the sugar and stir continuously until all the sugar melts and turns light red.
