Braised taro
Overview
Today I went to dig some taro trees in the field. I usually boil them directly and dip them in sugar to save trouble. Today I made a different taste and braised the taro. The children said it was delicious.

One tree digs out so much.

Peel and wash the taro.

Cut into hob pieces.

Heat oil in a pot, add rock sugar, and simmer over low heat.

When it becomes caramel color, add the taro cubes and stir to coat.

Add water to cover the taro, and the taro will be cooked in about 15 minutes.

Simmer the soup until thickened and add braised soy sauce.

Add salt to taste and serve.
