Peel the potatoes and wash them

Use a paring knife to slice the potatoes into thin slices

Prepare garlic and onions

Blanch the potato slices in a pot of boiling water for 2 minutes, then immediately blanch them in cold water

Drain the potato slices that have been soaked in cold water
