Mix well by hand and the crystal liquid is ready. Cover with plastic wrap and put it into the pot to steam for about 30 minutes.

After steaming, the crystal skin will have a transparent texture as a whole. If the surroundings are transparent, but the middle color is white, it means that the steaming is not done yet and the steaming time needs to be extended. It will be hot and sticky just after steaming. Once it cools down a little, around 60 degrees, you can start wrapping.

Prepare the stuffing. The formula I use here is 50 grams of skin and 10 grams of filling. When making the buns, you can also pack more stuffing and less skin.

The temperature is about 60 degrees. If it is warm at this time, the skin will be softer and the seal will be easier to pinch together. If it is completely cool, it will be harder. During the wrapping process, if you feel that the skin is cold and hard, you can put it in the steamer again to heat it up. That way the skin will soften again.
