Blue Mussels Poached in Rum Butter
Overview
In the era of purchasing agents, anything is possible. Although I have never been to France, I can still sit at home and purchase high-quality seafood that is fully refrigerated and transported from France: live blue mussels from Mont Saint-Michel in France. This method of cooking with wine is simple. In addition to rum, you can also try white wine. The taste is still very fragrant and the most natural taste of seafood is preserved.

Ingredients
Steps
-
Blue mussels do not need to be washed after opening the bag. Simply remove the broken shells and seaweed.
-
Dice onion and set aside.
-
Melt the butter in a hot pan and sauté the diced onions.
-
Add blue mussels and stir-fry for three to four minutes.
-
Add rum and cook, covered, for five to six minutes.
-
No need to add any seasoning. Because the salty taste of sea water brought by fresh blue mussels is enough.
-
All mussels are open and ready to eat when the flesh is golden in color.
