Bring half a pot of boiling water and put the rice cakes into the pot to soak until soft.

Chop the scallions into fine slices.

Prepare the spicy cabbage and rice cake sauce.

Heat oil in a hot pan, add onion shreds and stir-fry for a while.

Add spicy cabbage and stir-fry evenly.

Add soaked rice cake.

Add the Korean rice cake sauce and salt and stir-fry until it changes color.

Add water level with the rice cake and bring to a boil over high heat.

Cook for about three minutes. When the soup thickens, sprinkle with chopped green onion and white sesame seeds and stir-fry evenly.
