Pan-fried glutinous rice cake
Overview
Pan-fried glutinous rice cake~~ It’s called Jianmigu in my hometown. This is the glutinous rice that my mother personally soaked and ground into powder, then packed in a cloth bag with rice slurry to press out the water and dried the glutinous rice grains. We brought it from Zhanjiang from our hometown after the Chinese New Year. Although it is not a valuable thing, it represents my mother’s full heart.

Self-ground glutinous rice flour

Add warm water to the glutinous rice balls

Prepare a non-stick pan and add an appropriate amount of oil

Cut the glutinous rice dough into small uniform pieces, roll it into a round shape and flatten it

Start frying until golden brown, take it out and set aside

Leave some oil in the pan, put all the fried cakes into the pan, and add an appropriate amount of sugar

Add half a bowl of boiling water and stir-fry evenly

Simmer over low heat for two minutes until the sugar melts
