Strawberry Mango Hug Roll

Overview

Occasionally I make some simple strawberry and mango rolls for the children. Seeing the children dancing happily and contentedly makes me feel happy!

Steps

  1. Add caster sugar to egg yolks

  2. Whip until the color turns white.

  3. Add corn oil

  4. Add milk and mix well

  5. Add sifted cake flour

  6. Draw a line and mix well

  7. Add the sugar to the egg whites in three batches and beat until stiff and peaky.

  8. Add one-third of the egg whites into the egg yolk batter and mix evenly.

  9. Pour in the remaining egg whites.

  10. Continue to mix evenly

  11. Put into piping bag

  12. Pour the batter into a baking pan lined with oil paper. The amount of batter is just enough to squeeze 8 pieces. Preheat the oven to 160 degrees from top to bottom and bake on the middle rack for 25 minutes.

  13. Whip the light cream and powdered sugar until 10 minutes.

  14. Put the buttercream into a piping bag and pipe it into the cake base.

  15. Decorate with strawberries, mangoes, blueberries and other fruits.
