Peel and cut the winter melon into cubes, cut the lean meat into thin slices, wash the green beans and slice the ginger.

Put 4 bowls of water in the soup pot and bring to a boil over high heat.

Pour in the green beans and ginger slices and cook over high heat for 2 minutes.

Pour in the winter melon and cook over high heat for 5 to 8 minutes until the winter melon becomes transparent.

Pour in the meat slices and continue to cook over high heat for 3 minutes.

Add a pinch of salt to taste.
