Wash and break the beans into sections and set aside! Purple beans are very common in Hunan. The bean seeds grown by Mama’s family in the suburbs are all brought from their hometown in Hunan! In addition to the different colors, purple beans are much more delicious than green ones!
-
Wash and slice two chili peppers and set aside! Xiaokai is half Hunanese, so she likes to add chili peppers when cooking. No matter how spicy it is, she likes it! 😋
-
Get some cloves of garlic ready! The one I plan to use for Xiaokai is Ma Ma growing it myself, so it is very small but also very fragrant!
-
Remove the skin from the garlic and set aside
-
With all the ingredients ready, we can start cooking!
-
Heat the pot dry and pour in appropriate amount of cooking oil! PS: This is for frying chili peppers, you can use less!
-
Pour the chopped chilies into the pot, fry until the skin turns into tiger skin, then set aside!
-
Pour in an appropriate amount of cooking oil, put the garlic into the pot and fry it until the aroma comes out!
-
When the garlic turns brown, add the beans to the pot and stir-fry, adding an appropriate amount of salt! PS: Salt can dehydrate ingredients quickly and cook them faster!
-
For example, submerge half of the beans in water and boil for about 3 minutes. When the water dries up, pour in an appropriate amount of soy sauce, then add the fried chili peppers, stir-fry and take it out of the pot! 😋

Simple home cooking! 😋
