Overview

Puppet is a local specialty here, not a snack but a staple food. There are pure oatmeal puppets, oatmeal yam puppets, and white-faced yam puppets (yams are potatoes). It can be eaten after steaming, and it will be more fragrant after stir-frying! Sometimes I just eat oatmeal noodles mixed with some steamed potatoes for breakfast, which is also delicious!

  1. Potatoes can be cooked in a pressure cooker and just add a little water. If you use an ordinary pot to cook them, they can also be boiled and simmered. Peel when slightly cool.
