Cocoa Waffles
Overview
The aroma of cocoa is very tempting, and the crispy biscuits are very delicious. Paired with juice or milk, it is a beautiful afternoon tea.

Ingredients
Steps
-
Beat softened butter at room temperature with sugar until it becomes larger in volume and lighter in color.
-
Add half of the egg mixture.
-
Continue beating until the eggs and butter are completely combined.
-
Add the remaining half of the egg mixture and continue beating until the egg mixture and butter are combined.
-
Sift in cake flour and cocoa powder.
-
Use a spatula to cut and mix to form a dough of suitable dryness and wetness.
-
Divide into equal portions of about 20 grams and roll into balls.
-
Use something with a lattice shape to press it, which will look like a waffle. What I used was part of the tool used to cut French fries, which happened to be in a grid shape.
-
Place in preheated oven.
-
Bake at 175 degrees for 25 minutes. (I use this ACA oven, which has very precise temperature control. The oven door is like a mirror, shining in me and my kitchen.)
-
Take out of the oven and let cool slightly.
-
Plate it and it's ready to eat.
