Brown sugar steamed buns
Overview
My family bought more than ten kilograms of old brown sugar, and they usually make ginger tea and health porridge. One day, my mother bought brown sugar steamed buns. She was very surprised when she took one bite, so she thought about how to make brown sugar steamed buns by herself, which is many times healthier than those with additives.

-
Add water to the pot, add brown sugar and bring to a boil. Cool the sugar water to about body temperature, add yeast powder, and stir evenly
-
Add warm sugar water to flour and knead into dough. Cover the kneaded dough with a damp cloth and let it rise in a warm place until doubled in size.
-
Place the fermented dough on the chopping board and knead it.
-
Roll the kneaded dough into a large rectangular shape
-
Spread an appropriate amount of water on the dough sheet
-
Roll up the dough piece, with the wet side on the inside
-
Cut the rolled dough roll into appropriate sizes
-
Place the cut baking paper on the steamer and place the cut dough on it to ferment.
-
Let the dough ferment for about 40 minutes. When the dough is a big circle, you can start steaming. After boiling the water over high heat, continue steaming for about 20 minutes and simmer for about 5 minutes.
