Ingredients
Steps
-
Soften the cream cheese in water.
-
Mix well with a whisk.
-
Add granulated sugar and mix well.
-
Add the eggs (one at a time).
-
Mix well after adding each one.
-
After all three eggs are added, the color of the cheese paste will turn yellow.
-
Peel the lemon and mince it in a food processor, or chop it into fine pieces with a knife. (This step can be prepared in advance)
-
Add the lemon zest to the cheese batter and mix well.
-
Mix the low-gluten flour and baking powder, sift and add the cheese paste and stir evenly.
-
Finally, add the melted warm butter and mix well.
-
Pour the batter into the paper tray, beat it a few times to release the air bubbles inside, preheat the oven to 170 degrees, and bake for 35 to 40 minutes. While baking, make lemon icing by mixing powdered sugar, lemon juice and water. After the cake comes out of the oven, use a brush to brush the lemon icing on the surface of the cake. Brush it several times to make the flavor richer.
