Overview
Pineapple buns actually do not contain pineapple. They are a sweet bread originating from Hong Kong. They are said to be named after the golden brown surface and uneven crispy skin that resembles pineapples.

Prepare materials.

Put all the ingredients except butter into the bread machine and turn on the kneading mode to knead the dough.

Knead until expanded, add butter and continue kneading until complete.
