Steamed chestnuts (The season for eating chestnuts is here! I love it!!)

Overview

The chestnuts my junior sister brought home were so delicious! Boiled chestnuts will not taste good if they are cracked, but steamed chestnuts are still delicious, sweet and noodles! If you don’t have a steamer, just use my electric pressure cooker with less water instead!

Steps

  1. Wash the chestnuts (hehe, I have eaten them several times, only this little bit is left)

  2. Use kitchen scissors to cut a cross horizontally and vertically on the bulging back of the chestnut

  3. Put a small amount of water in the electric pressure cooker, really a small amount, only 1/3 the height of the chestnut. Still press my favorite "bean/tendon" button.

  4. After steaming, most of the moisture is absorbed by the chestnuts. The chestnut noodles made this way are relatively dry and delicious! (By the way, should I post a picture of peeled chestnuts? Unfortunately, they were all eaten...)
