Peach Gum, Soap Locust, Rice Lotus Seeds and Tremella Soup
Overview
Peach gum is a resin secreted from the bark of Rosaceae plants such as peach or mountain peach. It is also known as peach oil, peach fat, peach blossom tears, peach gum, and peach gel. It has the effects of clearing blood and lowering lipids, relieving stress and anti-wrinkle and rejuvenating skin. The main components of gum are galactose, rhamnose, α-glucuronic acid, etc. Contains carbohydrates, fats, proteins and plant collagen. Snow lotus seeds, also known as snow lotus seeds, are produced in the snow-capped mountains of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. The fruit is sticky, crystal clear in color, delicious in taste and rich in protein, algal cutin and amino acids. Compendium of Materia Medica records that snow lotus seeds are pungent and warm, expectorant, antibacterial, activate blood circulation, lower blood pressure, and nourish the mind. They are a food that protects the liver, moisturizes the lungs, and nourishes the skin.

Add appropriate amount of water to tremella, lotus seeds and snow lotus seeds and boil for 1 and a half hours, then add peach gum and red dates and wolfberry and cook for another hour or so until the gum is cooked out, and finally add rock sugar.
