Ham borscht
Overview
Dad has been sick recently and has no appetite. He says that nothing tastes good in his mouth. I accidentally saw a food program on TV introducing borscht, so I tried to make it myself. Unexpectedly, the first time I made it, it was so successful. Dad loves to drink it very much and asked me to make this soup for him often in the future

Peel the potatoes and cut into fingernail-sized dices.

Wash the tomatoes and cut into cubes.

Chop the onion into finely chopped pieces and set aside.

The ham meat is also cut into cubes (I used the ready-to-eat smoked ham meat sold in the supermarket freezer, but you can also use beef instead).

Add all ingredients to the pot and mix well.

Add appropriate amount of water, bring to a boil over high heat, then turn to low heat and simmer for another half hour.

Add salt and black pepper to the cooked soup and stir evenly.
