Old-fashioned scallion pancake
Overview
I started cooking alone in the fifth grade of elementary school. I didn’t need adults to prepare anything. What I often made or what I was best at was scallion pancakes. I imitated the adults to pour a ladle of flour on the chopping board, then used the ladle to make a big nest, and poured water while stirring. Many times, the water jet was too fast, and there was a gap in the wall, and the flood broke out. There were many times when I was frustrated. At that time, I just didn't know that I could knead the dough in the basin, so I just followed the instructions of the adults. It's really interesting to think about it. The main reason why I like to make scallion pancakes the most is that pancake buns cannot be made and adults need to prepare half of them. Another reason is that you can eat several scallion pancakes with only pickles. The original taste of chopped scallions, oil and salt is also the most fragrant. After I got married, I still love making scallion pancakes. My husband loves to eat scallion pancakes and my son also loves to eat them. My husband also grew up eating scallion pancakes. This can be concluded because we grew up so close together and have the same eating habits. After we got married, we saved a lot of trouble and we can hit it off with everything we eat. Regarding the taste of childhood, we also miss it together, taste it together, and recall our childhood while eating, which resonates a lot. Isn't it a kind of happiness?
