Salted Chicken and Daylily Stew

Salted Chicken and Daylily Stew

Overview

My little colleague gave me half a salted chicken during the Chinese New Year, which he brought from his hometown in the countryside. To be honest, my family doesn’t really eat much salty food. Every year we stuff about 4 kilograms of sausage and have to eat it the next year. I’ve never made salted chicken at all. But this time the salted chicken is different. It’s an authentic farm-raised chicken. The taste is unmistakable! Served with a big bowl of dried day lily at home, it’s so delicious!
