Steps
-
Mix low-gluten flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder evenly.
-
Take a large bowl, add 120 grams of sugar and eggs, sift in the mixed flour, and stir evenly.
-
Add the milk and softened butter at room temperature and continue to mix.
-
Pour the mixed batter into a 6-inch cake mold and tap it several times to release air bubbles.
-
Preheat the oven to 175 degrees and bake for about 30 to 40 minutes, until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. After baking, let cool and set aside.
-
Cut the cherries in half, pour in the cherry wine, and let it sit for about 30 minutes. Remove the cherries and drain them, leaving the wine juice aside.
-
Add 30 grams of sugar to the heavy cream, whip, and refrigerate until ready.
-
Cut the cake into three slices of even thickness.
-
Take a piece of cake base, brush it with cream, put cherries on it, brush it with another layer of cream, and cover it with a piece of cake.
-
Use the same method to stack the three cake slices together.
-
Brush the outside with a layer of buttercream.
-
Break the chocolate into pieces, heat over water and melt, stirring properly.
-
After it cools down and becomes solid, use a planer to cut it into small crumbs.
-
Take a flower-shaped piping tip and fill the piping bag with cream.
-
Decorate the cake with buttercream flowers.
-
Place cherries on top of the buttercream flowers.
