  1. Wash gotu kola and plantain

  2. Bamboo cane is cut into small sections, and the small sections are broken into four.

  3. Put the gotu kola, plantain and bamboo cane into a clean soup pot, add about 2000ml of water, bring to a boil over high heat and then reduce to low heat.

  4. After about 15 minutes, add white sugar (or rock sugar) and turn off the heat after the sugar has melted.
