Homemade dried sweet potatoes
Overview
When I was a child, every time it was sweet potato harvest season, my dear old grandmother would dry the dried sweet potatoes in a large yard. The sugar exuded from the sweet potatoes shines brightly in the dazzling sunlight. I am always greedy and would grab a few and stuff them into my mouth from time to time. The sweet dried sweet potatoes are tough and chewy, making you unable to stop eating them. This taste has always remained in my memory. I happened to see a sweet potato wholesaler over the weekend, and I immediately thought I could buy some and make dried sweet potatoes! Nowadays, we all live in high-rise buildings without spacious yards and bright and dazzling sunlight. To make this dried sweet potato, we have to resort to small kitchen appliances. This time I tried different versions in the oven and microwave. Although it was not as good as the taste in my memory, it was still very delicious~ The dried sweet potatoes made by myself are clean and safe, and there is no additional sugar added, making them healthier to eat. Personally, I think the oven version of dried sweet potatoes is drier, more fragrant and chewy. The ones made in the microwave are moister and sweeter.
