Sweet and sour chromium slag mixed with glutinous rice cakes
Overview
Chrome slag is said to be a specialty of Tangshan. I really don’t know where to buy it, so I put together several gezha to make it easier for everyone to find. All the ingredients are in appropriate amounts. Add this according to your own taste. If you like it sour, add more vinegar. If you like it sweet, add sugar. It is very simple to make.

Ingredients
Steps
-
Two pieces of large chromium slag
-
Cut the chrome residue into diamond shapes, this is what it looks like after I fried it once,
-
Repeat the frying twice, and be sure to use a low heat, otherwise it will be mushy. I turned off the heat the second time because the oil was too hot, and it was ok.
-
Put oil in the pot and add sugar. If you like it sweet, add more.
-
Boil until melted, then add tomato paste and water
-
Boil it until it looks like this.
-
Add vinegar and cook,
-
Just add the chromium residue and stir-fry evenly
-
Looks good.
