Add cornmeal to one-eighth of white flour (depending on weather conditions and the amount of raw materials), add dry yeast, baking powder, and a little sugar.

Add warm water and knead the cornmeal into a soft dough.

Let the mixed cornmeal rise until it doubles in size and it's ready.

Soak the steamer cloth, pour the risen cornmeal on the steamer cloth, and stack the red dates.

After the water boils, steam for 20 minutes.
