It turns out that pork belly and dried mackerel go better together
Overview
This is my first time uploading a recipe. I hope you can point out any mistakes I made, haha. Because I grew up in Hainan, I like to eat seafood and salted fish very much. My husband likes to eat pork belly, and I like to eat dried mackerel. In order to blend my taste well, I stewed dried mackerel with pork belly on a whim. Unexpectedly, it tastes pretty good. Friends who like savory food can try it.

Ingredients
Steps
-
Pork belly sliced
-
Dry-clean and cut the mackerel
-
Slice the ginger and pat the garlic with a knife
-
The kids love to eat celery, so I added a little
-
Wash the green onions, cut them and set aside
-
After the pot is hot, add some oil and stir out a little of the oil in the pork belly so that the pork belly will not be too fat.
-
On high heat, pour the pork belly into the pot and fry a little oil, so that the pork belly will not be too greasy. If there is too much oil, beat out the oil to prevent it from being too greasy.
-
When the pork belly is half dry, pour in the dried mackerel and fry the dried salted fish until it becomes fragrant. It will take about five minutes.
-
After five minutes, add the ginger and garlic and stir-fry together to bring out the aroma
-
After about a minute, pour a little soy sauce to enhance the color. Don't pour too much because the dried mackerel is very salty.
-
Add a little oil and chicken essence
-
Flip for one minute
-
Pour in water, just enough to cover the fish and meat, then simmer for about three minutes
-
Since children love to eat celery, add the celery after three minutes and simmer over medium heat for five minutes
-
When the water is almost gone, put down the scallions and stir until the scallions are cooked. Then you can start the pot.

You're done. Friends who like to eat salted fish can try making it. Summer has arrived in Hainan in March, and this dish is very suitable with porridge. Friends who don’t like food can’t complain either.
