Peel the purple sweet potato and cut it into small pieces. After cleaning the yam, cut it into sections and steam it over high heat together with the purple sweet potato. Steam the purple sweet potato for about 15 minutes and the yam for 25 minutes. After steaming the yam, peel it. (Figure 1)

After cooling, yam and purple sweet potato are simply mashed and then filtered through a flour sieve (Picture 2)

After filtering the yam puree, add 30 grams of white bean paste and mix well. Purple sweet potato only needs to be filtered. If you want it sweeter, you can add some powdered sugar or condensed milk. (Figure 3)

Divide the yam into 20g pieces, and divide the purple sweet potato into 20g pieces and 10g pieces. Note that purple sweet potato comes in two sizes.
