Overview
Nutritional value: Silkworm pupae have extremely high nutritional value and are rich in protein (fresh silkworm pupae contain 51% crude protein), fatty acids (29% crude fat), and vitamins (including vitamin A, vitamin B2, vitamin D and ergosterol, etc.). The protein content of silkworm chrysalis is more than 50%, which is much higher than that of ordinary food, and the protein contains a complete range of essential amino acids.
