Wash it clean and tear off the old tendons.

Cut one front rib (bone) into pieces, soak in running water for 20 minutes, remove and drain, add garlic, and set aside.

Add appropriate amount of oil in a hot pan and stir-fry the lentils.

Sauté until the lentils change color and set aside.

Heat the oil in the pan again, add the garlic cloves and sauté until fragrant.

Add the pork ribs and stir-fry until lightly browned. Add light soy sauce and dark soy sauce and stir-fry until brown.

I missed taking a picture of the pork ribs being stir-fried and browned... Add enough water to cover the pork ribs, bring to a boil over high heat, then turn to low heat and continue simmering.

Simmer until the ribs are 80% tender, add the fried lentils and add an appropriate amount of salt.

Cook until the soup thickens.
