Homemade scallion soda biscuits (oven soda biscuits)
Overview
Soda biscuits are my favorite snack. The crunchiness makes you more and more addictive! Ever since I got an oven at home, I thought, why can’t I make soda biscuits myself? I made this biscuit on impulse~~

Ingredients
Steps
-
Prepare the ingredients~chop the green onions! ! The butter should be heated in water in advance until it melts into a liquid state
-
The milk needs to be heated to a mild temperature, about 30 degrees. It’s just mild anyway. Don’t forget to put the yeast in!
-
Mix cake flour, sugar, salt, baking soda, chopped green onion, and white sesame seeds in a bowl. Use a spatula to stir evenly at first, then make a hole and put the milk containing yeast into it and knead it with your hands. If it becomes thin, add some cake flour~
-
After kneading into shape, add butter and continue kneading
-
After rolling into a ball, cover with plastic wrap and let stand for half an hour
-
Time flies by. . . . Then roll out the dough ~ roll it into a round cake shape of about 1~2mm (ok, I admit I rolled it thick at the time)
-
Then use a knife to cut it into cubes~ You can also use a model!
-
Place on a baking sheet and poke holes with a fork
-
Then let it sit for 15 minutes again
-
Preheat for 5 minutes to 170 degrees, then put it in the oven at 170 degrees, with upper and lower layers, and bake for 10-13 minutes
